Les George is an American knife maker who started his career in 1992, gaining experience as a soldier in the United States Marine Corps. In his workshop in Texas, he creates blades that stand out for their precision workmanship, solid construction and ergonomic shape. By combining classic craft techniques with contemporary metalworking methods, George produces knives with matt surfaces, smooth, clear edges and durable handles. Spartan Blades - In 2008, in a historic barn in Aberdeen, North Carolina, two retired non-commissioned officers of the United States Army Special Forces - Curtis Iovito and Mark Carey - combined more than 40 years of military experience to found Spartan Blades, a company specializing in the production of high-quality knives for both military and civilian use. Each knife, reflecting their constant pursuit of perfection, is carefully designed and made from the finest materials, such as CPM MagnaCut steel and titanium. Thanks to its collaboration with renowned designers, including William W. CTS® XHP - air-hardened, high-carbon and high-chromium corrosion-resistant American knife steel with a hardness of 60-64 HRC. Produced by powder metallurgy by Carpenter Technology Corporation. The alloy contains 1.6% carbon (C), 16% chromium (Cr), 0.8% molybdenum (Mo) and 0.45% vanadium (V). Thanks to its properties, it is relatively easy to sharpen, retains its sharpness for a very long time and ensures high corrosion resistance. Designed for the production of high-quality blades and knives.

Blade - wide, Drop Point type, finished with a Tumbled method to mask minor scratches caused during use. The thickness of the blade ensures high durability, while the high, flat grind gives the cutting edge perfect geometry and extreme cutting performance. The smoothness of opening is ensured by the innovative Oil Infused Bronze Bushing System, which supports the opening of the blade with a pin on both sides of the blade. The whole is locked with the proven liner lock.

Handle - made of G10 composite laminated with carbon fiber, a material with extremely high mechanical strength and virtually complete resistance to weather conditions and chemicals, textured to improve grip. Forefinger groove for a better grip. Open-backed design without a typical backspacer, attached to each other with steel spacers for easy cleaning. Two-position (right/left) clip allows you to carry the knife in a tip-up position.
