D2 - a high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 59-60 HRC. With a high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. Features high wear resistance due to high carbide content in the microstructure.
Blade - Tanto type finished impressively with Two Tone method , satin bevels , the rest of the blade with the tip of the head finished with Stonewash. The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards the flattened tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The tip of the hilt itself has been left for reinforcement in its full thickness, without a grind. Ball bearing ceramic supports the opening of the blade with a quick flipper (index-finger flipper) when opened acting as a crossguard. A section of the blade's back is covered with the upper jimping, a notched thumb rest for easy control of the knife. The whole is locked with a proven and popular liner lock.
Handle grips - made of G10, a material insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges and texturing of the surface improves grip security. The backspacer to which the grips are attached guarantees the rigidity and strength of the entire structure. A single-position, right-handed clip allows the knife to be carried in tip-up position , with the tip of the blade upward.
