M390 - martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced using powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it is characterized by extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Thanks to its high wear resistance, it retains its edge shape, keeping the blade sharp for a very long time (requires minimal maintenance). Another advantage is its resistance to “wire” formation during sharpening. Steel with a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) with an admixture of 1.9% carbon (C), 4.0% vanadium (V), hardened to 59-61 HRC, subjected to vacuum and cryogenic treatment and double tempering. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - Wharncliffe type, finished with a stonewashed method to mask small scratches caused during use, then coated with a black coating. The thickness of the blade ensures high durability, while the high, flat grind (flat grind) gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings support the opening of the blade with a discreet flipper fin, which, when opened, forms a mini guard to prevent the hand from sliding onto the blade. The knife can also be opened with a pin in the handle. On the spine of the blade is upper jimping, a corrugated thumb rest. The whole is locked with a Nested Frame Lock with a steel inlay protecting the lock face from wearing off.
Handle - thick titanium 6AL4V pieces, cover contouring eliminates sharp edges. On both sides there is an inlay made of Copper Foil Carbon Fiber composite. Only a few companies are able to make a handle with such incredible accuracy! The open-backed design, which is attached with titanium spacer sleeves, reduces weight and makes cleaning easier. The right-sided, single-position titanium deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in a tip-up position. The pivot area is decorated with a titanium cap (pivot cap).
Case - a soft nylon case with the manufacturer's logo is included to safely store and transport the folder.
