D2 - high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. Thanks to the high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. A combination of strength, excellent edge retention and easy sharpening. It is characterized by high abrasion resistance due to the high content of carbides in the microstructure.
Blade - Tanto S/E (Single Edge) type, coated with a black titanium-based coating. The prominent belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade, converging towards a needle-sharp tip. The thickness of the blade in combination with the high flat grind gives excellent cutting properties combined with high durability. The blade opening can be opened with a flipper (index-finger flipper). Once opened, the flipper forms a mini guard to prevent the hand from slipping onto the blade. The whole is locked with a proven and popular liner lock.
Handle - made with perfect precision from Forged Carbon Fiber composite, a practically indestructible material, insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage.
