Kubey - one of the largest manufacturers of high-quality knives at a great price! The company's motto is “An Edge Above the Rest”. By using high-speed CNC machine tools, milling machines, laser cutting and custom hand finishing, the brand focuses on quality workmanship and an innovative approach to design.
AUS-10 - Japanese stainless steel, often compared to 440C series steel and for good reason, because the compositions are similar, but these slight differences make AUS-10 harder (usually hardened to around 60 HRC) and dulls more slowly, without losing its resistance to rust. Knives made of this steel are relatively cheap and will be a great choice if your budget is not too high and you want the knife to be rust-proof.
Blade - sheepsfoot type, wide, finished with a stonewashed method to mask small scratches caused during use, and then covered with a black coating. The slightly curved cutting edge converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade and the long grain ensure high durability, while the high, flat grind guarantees excellent cutting properties. Ceramic ball bearings ensure smooth and quiet running and support the opening of the blade with a flipper after opening the crossguard. The knife can also be opened with the grain or by gravity. On the back of the blade, there is an upper jimping, a corrugated thumb rest. Locking mechanism: Button-Lock.
Handle - grips made of G10 composite, a virtually indestructible material that is resistant to weather, chemicals and mechanical damage. Textured for a better grip, screwed to the steel frame of the knife. The open-backed design without a typical backspacer, attached to each other with steel spacers, facilitates cleaning. The simple, solid design ensures many years of use. A deep forefinger groove improves grip. The pivot axis is decorated with a stylized manufacturer's logo. The two-position (right/left) steel deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in a tip-up position (with the tip of the blade up).
