Doug Marcaida - master of Filipino martial arts, juror on the popular show “Forged in Fire” (“Forged in Fire”). The distinctive triangles on the Handle grips allude to the main principles of fighting in the FMA.
Karambit - a type of knife that originated in Indonesia, with roots in Malaysia and the Philippines. It is characterized by a finger ring and a sickle-shaped blade, which is characterized by great cutting efficiency. Hawkbill mimics the way an eagle's claw or a tiger's claw rips through, piercing and cutting simultaneously. Used as a working knife and for defense.
Emerson Wave (Emerson Opener) - located on the back of the Blade, Ernest Emerson's patented hook allows you to quickly open the blade when removing the knife from your pocket by hooking the hook over the edge of your pocket. Thanks to Wave, every Emerson folder equipped with this solution is the fastest knife in the world when it comes to opening speed. It's also faster than an automatic knife, as it's ready to use once you grab it.
N690Co - cobalt-rich 1.65% (Co) corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V). Developed to provide better wear resistance compared to the original Böhler N690 steel, but with higher cobalt (Co) content in its composition. It features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. Hardened in the range of 58-61 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Idroglider® Black - The durability of the blade surface and cutting edge is enhanced with a scratch-resistant, matte black non-reflective protective coating made of PTFE. It ensures long life and resistance to rust.
Blade - modified Tanto profile. Plain blade is led out with a Flat Grind for efficient cutting with the entire cutting surface as well as the ultra-thin tip. A notched ramp (support) for the thumb on the back of the blade makes it easier to operate the knife. Liner-Lock lock with additional LAWKS safety feature. Idroglider® Black - scratch-resistant, matte non-reflective coating made of PTFE. Provides long Blade life and resistance to rust.
Handle - Rogue textured grips for better grip. Made of G10 composite material resistant to mechanical damage, chemicals, low temperatures. Non-conductive, prevents gloves from freezing to the covers. Spine jimping notches on the back of the Handle for a secure grip. Attachment clip (left/right) for carrying the knife in tip-up position. Handle is finished with a polished Pommel head with a finger ring (Back Ring) made of T6-6082 aircraft aluminum. Makes it easier to rotate the folder around your finger, allowing you to perform traditional techniques.
