A7 Zastava D/E Black Aluminum/Black Wood, Black is an advanced OTF automatic knife from Tekto, designed in cooperation with Zastava Arms factory engineers. The Handle is made of high-quality 6061-T6 aluminum, precisely contoured, providing a secure grip and excellent control of the tool, even in the most demanding conditions. The wood inlays are made in colors identical to the stock and bed of the legendary AK M70 rifles manufactured at Zastava Arms. The S35VN steel blade, highly hardened (58-61 HRC), guarantees unparalleled cutting performance and long-lasting sharpness retention. Compact and lightweight, weighing just 105 grams, the A7 Zastava is almost invisible in a pocket, making it an ideal choice for those in need of a discreet yet ready-to-use tool. CPM S35VN - American martensitic high-alloy stainless steel with a hardness of 59-61 HRC, one of the best blade steels. Designed to provide better strength compared to CPM S30V, while keeping corrosion resistance at the highest level. Manufactured by US Crucible Industries using the particle metallurgy/ Crucible® Particle Metallurgy(CPM) method. The CPM process creates a very homogeneous, high-quality steel with excellent dimensional stability, grindability and ductility compared to steels produced by conventional methods. The chemical composition has been balanced so that it is composed of 0.5% niobium carbides (Nb) along with 3.0% vanadium (V) and 14.0% chromium (Cr) carbides. Replacing some of the niobium carbides with vanadium carbides makes the steel about 15-20% harder than S30V without sacrificing wear resistance, and it is also easier to machine and polish. The improved strength of CPM S35VN also provides better resistance to edge chipping.

Blade - Dagger D/E (Double Edge) type, sharpened on both sides. Coated with a black titanium-based coating. The blade was derived with a high flat grind, providing excellent cutting properties. As a result, while maintaining high strength, the knife has excellent piercing properties. The powerful mechanism of extending / retracting the blade with the help of a moled Thumb Slide, a stepped slide under the thumb requires for safety the application of a specific force to overcome the resistance of the spring. The method of opening provides seamless opening for both right and left-handed people.

Handle - made with excellent precision in 3D technology on CNC milling machines, from 6061-T6 aluminum. Precision-glued wood inlays and notches (jimping) located on the back and bottom support a more secure grip. The slim profile and milled two-position (right/left) deep-carry clip allow the knife to be carried discreetly in a pocket, in tip-down (blade tip down) position. The clip features the Tekto and Zastava Arms logos. The Handle is finished with glass breaker.

Case - the knife is packed in a Velcro velcro-fastened nylon soft pouch for safe carrying and storage of the folder.
