CPM MagnaCut - Powdered stainless steel produced by the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process hardened to 60.5-62.5 HRC. The high content of vanadium 4.0% (V), molybdenum 2.0% (Mo) and niobium 2.0% (Nb) guarantees accuracy and purity unmatched by more “conventional” steels. Designed and developed specifically for blade production by Larrin Thomas, it meets all the requirements of knife enthusiasts. With CPM, MagnaCut was able to create a steel that combines unique properties like no other knife steel. The result is a blade material that offers a remarkable balance of wear resistance, strength and corrosion resistance. There is no other steel on the world market today that offers a comparable combination of superior properties. This unique steel is manufactured at Crucible® Industries' American steel mills.

Blade - drop point type, finished with a scratch-masking bath of fine Stonewashed pebbles and then coated with a black coating, an effect LionSteel has named Old Black. The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge relative to the length of the blade converging toward the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind guarantees excellent cutting properties almost on the level of a razor. Ceramic ball bearings support the opening of the blade with a quick index-finger flipper (flipper) when opened acting as a stag. The entire blade is locked with the proven and popular frame lock with a steel inlay to prevent wiping of the lock face.

ReF - (Removable Flipper System) located on the underside of the blade protrusion / flipper flipper assisted by Double Crown makes it easy to open the blade with one hand. It consists of a small lever (protrusion) that extends beyond the back of the Handle when the Blade is closed. In the open position, the protrusion acts as a stinger, protecting the hand from slipping on the blade. In the folder, it is possible to unscrew the Removable Flipper System lever (unscrew the flipper fin, then insert the second screw included in the box) and open the blade with both hands. This is important in countries where there is a ban on the use of knives with one-handed opening blades in public places.

Handle - the presentation side is made of Purple Haze Fat Carbon, the locking side is made of solid titanium 6AI4V., the grips are screwed to a CNC-milled titanium backspacer, which provides the desired rigidity and strength of the entire structure. Chamfering of the covers eliminates sharp edges for comfort, and the fore finger groove made on the front improves grip security. A two-position (right/left) titanium deep clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in tip-up (tip up) position. Under the clip, lanyard hole, a hole for a safety or decorative cord.
