Damasteel® DS93X™ Thor™ - Damascus steel produced by powder metallurgy from two tough knife steels with different draws (RWL34 and PMC27). It combines corrosion resistance with excellent strength. The two alloys are already combined at the smelting stage in more than 100 layers with no visible joining points. The resulting pattern is intense on the surface, and the effect is strongest with a small bevel. Named after the Norse god of lightning, Thor.
Blade - Drop Point, Plain smooth blade is derived with a Flat Grind which gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Frame-Lock reinforced monolithic 6AI4V titanium blade lock, one of the grip grips acts as a locking mechanism. Located on the underside of the blade, the IKBS-assisted protrusion / flipper makes it easier to open the blade. In the open position it serves as a lower guard / hilt protecting the hand from slipping off the handle. In the upper part, the characteristic milling used to open the knife with the Flipper and Thumb Discie removed.
IKBS - Ball bearing system to improve the opening and closing of the knife. Allows smooth and fast opening of the blade.
Handle - left side, presentation, made of black Carbon Fiber (carbon fiber compressed under pressure with synthetic resin). The right side is 3D-machined solid titanium bolted to a CNC-milled titanium backspacer, which means that such a design is virtually indestructible. Thanks to the machining, the titanium takes on a characteristic texture that improves grip security. A double-sided (left/right) 6AL-4V titanium clip allows you to carry the knife in tip-up (tip up) position. Above the clip is a lanyard hole, an oval hole for a cord.
