The sword is characterized by a long blade with a full flat grind, a straight crossguard style and a clearly marked ball type head. It also comes with a sheath trimmed with brown leather, equipped with a leather strap system that allows attachment to a belt - stylized for military suspension of the era. Blade - was made of hardened high-carbon steel 1065, finished to a satin sheen. Its classic lenticular ( lenticular ) profile with a pronounced full flat grind provides a faithful reproduction of medieval knight's swords - slightly tapering towards the hilt.The sword has a smooth edge (unsharpened), making it safe for show or decorative use.
