14C28N - a martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in the range of knife steels produced by Swedish Sandvik steel mills. An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Considered an improved version of 13C26 steel. Unbeatable in the price / quality category!

Blade - Sheepsfoot type, with a wide blade finished with a scratch-masking Sand Blasted method. The long cutting edge in relation to the length of the head converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings are responsible for the smooth and smooth operation of the knife's opening mechanism. The opening in the wedge allows both right and left-handed people to open the knife quickly and effortlessly. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. A small choil makes sharpening easy. The entire blade is locked with the proven and popular liner lock.

ULTEM™ - a plastic belonging to the Polyethermoids family or simply PEI. This material is characterized primarily by high mechanical and impact strength with a very high strength-to-weight ratio. It is also characterized by high thermal resistance (180⁰C) and high chemical resistance to all kinds of solvents (synthetic and natural), lubricants or other chemicals. Adding to this total insensitivity to weather conditions, we get an ideal material for knife handles.

Handle - liners made of transparent Ultem™ plastic, textured for improved grip, bolted to the knife's steel frame. Chamfered edges of the sheaths eliminate sharp edges for comfort and improve grip confidence. The so-called open-backed design without the typical backspacer, fastened together with steel spacer sleeves for easy cleaning. The simple, secure design provides confidence for years of use. A deep finger undercut (fore finger groove) improves grip security. The pivot axis is decorated with a stylized Kubey Knife brand logo. A two-position (right.left) titanium deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up (blade tip up) position.
