14C28N - a martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in the range of knife steels produced by Sandvik's Swedish mills. An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Considered an improved version of 13C26 steel. Unbeatable in the price / quality category!

Blade - Clip Point type finished in an elegant Satin method. The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards a strikingly needle-sharp tip, which is in line with the center of the knife for maximum effectiveness. The small thickness of the blade combined with a high flat grind (Flat Grind) gives excellent cutting properties combined with high durability. Ball bearing ceramic supports the smooth opening of the blade, which can be opened using either a hole in the blade (thumb hole) or a flipper flipper (index-finger flipper) that acts as a stinger when opened. As a result, it can be easily used by right- and left-handed people. To maintain full control of the blade, there is a notched thumb rest on the back of the upper jimping wedge. The whole is locked with a solid liner lock.

Handle - rough grips made of Canvas Micarta (pressure-pressed canvas with synthetic resin), which were screwed to steel liners. The so-called open-backed design without the typical backspacer, attached to each other with steel spacer sleeves for easy cleaning. The simple, secure design gives assurance of many years of use.
