Ekol ES 66 Black is an air pistol based on the blank-pistol design by Voltran. It offers a realistic appearance and a metal solid construction for durability and reliability. The slide, frame, hammer, decocker lever, and small components are all made of metal. With such strong roots, this is one of the most powerful air pistols, reaching a velocity of 150 m/s, making it suitable for dynamic sport shooting or tactical training.
Construction - the fully metal frame provides a realistic weight similar to that of a real firearm. The pistol features a large integrated trigger guard for a comfortable two-handed grip. Textured grip panels made of durable black ABS polymer ensure a secure and stable hold.
Sights - fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight. White contrast markers enhance visibility and make aiming easier in low-light conditions.
Trigger Mechanism – the pistol features a SA/DA (Single Action / Double Action) firing system, allowing for shots to be fired either with double-action trigger pull (cocking and firing in one motion) or with the hammer pre-cocked for a lighter, single-action shot.
Magazine - metal construction with a capacity of 14 steel BBs in 4.5 mm caliber. The weight of the ammunition is evenly distributed along the entire length of the magazine. Only steel BB pellets should be used.
Power Supply - powered by a 12g CO₂ cartridge housed in the magazine located within the pistol grip. A single CO2 capsule provides approximately 50–60 effective shots.
