Blade - Hawkbill is made of easy-to-sharpen 8Cr13MoV stainless steel (equivalent to Japanese AUS-8 steel). Hollow grind blade enables effective cutting with entire cutting surface as well as ultra thin tip. Comet-shaped cut-out (Spyderco patent) for opening the blade with the thumb. Solid Back-Lock with additional Boye Detent, preventing accidental release of the lock when the knife is firmly gripped.
Handle - linings made of solid Stainless Steel. Ergonomic shape provides a comfortable and secure grip even when wearing gloves. Openings in the sheaths allow air circulation to dry a wet blade faster. The pocket knife is equipped with a right-side metal clip with the possibility of fastening in two planes (Right Tip-up / Tip-down).
