Blade - Drop point made from easy to sharpen 8Cr13MoV stainless steel (equivalent to Japanese AUS-8). Plain blade has a Full Flat Grind, which reduces the weight of the knife. The notched portion of the back of the blade, the ramp (jimping / crosshatching) positions the thumb and gives a solid support and the curved undercut for the index finger between the handle and the cutting edge (finger choil jimping) makes it easier to operate the folder. Comet-shaped cut-out (Spyderco patent) for quick opening of the blade. Back-Lock with protection against accidental release of the lock during firm grip, cut-out in the lock designed by David Boye.
