Civivi Gordo Knife Powder Pink G10, Satin D2 by Peter Carey (C22018C-4)

Gordo Powder Pink G10, Satin is the latest design by American knifemaker Peter Carey. A compact EDC folding knife, it is perfectly crafted with a G10 composite handle and a D2 tool steel blade with a satin finish. The small size makes the knife perfect for everyday carry.

D2 - high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel, heat-treated to 59-60 HRC. With a high chromium content of 13% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. It combines high strength, excellent edge holding and relatively easy sharpening. It is also characterized by very good wear resistance, due to the high content of carbides in the microstructure.

Blade - wide, Drop Point type finished with an elegant Satin method, which gives an elegant, slightly shiny look with delicate linear grinding marks. The pronounced belly extends the cutting edge relative to the length of the blade, converging toward the needle-sharp tip. The blade's slim thickness combined with a high hollow grind provides excellent cutting properties while maintaining high strength. Ball bearing ceramic supports the smooth opening of the blade, which can be opened with both a double-sided stud (Double Thumb Stud) and an index-finger flipper, which acts as a crossguard when opened. This makes the knife fully suitable for both right- and left-handed people. The back of the blade features upper jimping - a notched thumb rest, improving control of the blade. The whole is locked with a solid liner lock.

Handle grips - rough G10 composite grips (pressure-pressed fiberglass with synthetic resin), which have been bolted to steel liners. The so-called open-backed design without the typical backspacer, attached to each other with steel spacers for easy cleaning. The simple, secure design gives assurance of many years of use. Deep carry clip, single-position (right), allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position (tip up).

Sheath – the set includes a soft nylon pouch with a zipper and the manufacturer’s logo, designed for safe storage and transport of the folding knife.
