Yonder Guibourtia Wood, Damascus designed by Zac Whitmor for Civivi, features a new Damascus pattern – Jagger Pattern. This lightweight, versatile folding knife is pocket-friendly and ranks among the best knives in terms of value for money. Winner of the Best Buy of the Year Award at Blade Show 2024, it can compete with the renowned Elementum for the title of the best Civivi knife.

Zac Whitmore , an acclaimed knife designer, has gained an international reputation for his innovative designs that combine functionality and aesthetics. A mechanical engineer by training, Whitmore began his career as a craftsman, honing his skills in a small workshop where he experimented with various metalworking techniques. His passion for creating knives was born out of his fascination with traditional blacksmithing methods and modern manufacturing technologies. As a result, his designs are not only beautiful, but also extremely durable and functional.

Civivi - a sub-brand of WE Knife, a company that produces knives of the highest global quality. Production takes place on the same production lines as WE, so the highest standard of assembly is maintained.

Damascus - Damascus stainless steel blade with a unique pattern. Finished with etching in acid to emphasize the contrast of patterns. The blade consisting of two different types of steel, forged and assembled together in different ways obtaining this amazing pattern. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC.

Crossbar Lock - a crossbar that moves horizontally in longitudinal cutouts in the steel side plates of the handle frame. When the knife is opened, the locking bar overlaps the back of the blade from above, preventing its return movement. This beam is pressed down by two springs. Unlocking is done by pulling back the locking bar, the ends of which are accessible through cutouts in the grips on the sides of the Handle grips. In the closed position, the bar presses against the cam surface at the back of the Blade, preventing it from opening on its own. Advantages of the Crossbar Lock include resistance to contamination, practical insensitivity to dynamic loads, ease of operation with both right and left hands, and lightweight operation.

BladeSpey Point type, finished with an acid-etched process that highlights the Jagger Pattern Damascus. The slim blade thickness combined with a high flat grind provides excellent cutting edge geometry and exceptional cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings ensure smooth operation of the opening mechanism, allowing the blade to be deployed using a dual thumb stud. The spine features upper jimping, a textured thumb ramp for added control. The knife is secured with a robust crossbar lock.

Handle – scales made of exotic Guibourtia wood with a unique grain pattern (Latin name: Bubinga) provide an exclusive appearance. Chamfered edges eliminate sharp corners, ensuring comfort and a secure grip. The open-backed construction reduces weight and makes cleaning easier. The simple, solid design ensures years of reliable use. The pivot axis is adorned with a stylized Civivi brand logo. The reversible (left/right) deep-carry pocket clip allows discreet pocket carry in the tip-up position (blade tip up).

Sheath – the set includes a soft nylon pouch with a zipper and the manufacturer’s logo, designed for safe storage and transport of the folding knife.
