Hera 2 Mini S/E Blue Aluminum, Stonewashed compact version of one of the best and versatile OTF (Out The Front) automatic knives. Modeled after the iconic Troodon automatic , it is an intermediate link between EDC and tactical models. The over-the-top automatic operates in D/A (Double Action) mode using an opening mechanism that works with great force and power. This model features an excellent fit and superb finish. Designed by Anthony Marfione knifemaker and owner of Microtech Knives.

Hera Mini Series - tactical automatic knives OTF, combining utility and aesthetics in perfect proportions. Models are available with D/E, S/E and Bayonet blades , and their handles are made of anodized aircraft-grade aluminum. A unique feature of the Hera series is the precision-milled titanium pocket clip, equipped with a smooth rollerball, which allows the knife to slide extremely easily and smoothly into any pocket.

M390MK - a collaboration between Microtech and Böhler engineers resulted in an exclusive version of M390 steel made only for Microtech. The carbon content has been increased and subjected to closer scrutiny thus improving the properties of M390 steel for better edge retention, corrosion resistance and polishing. Martensitic high-performance chromium steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to its alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of “wire” during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 19.0% (Cr) doped with 1.95% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), and is hardened between 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Blade - machine ground type S/E Drop Point, finished masking minor scratches from use with Stonewashed method . The blade was derived with a high Flat Grind, providing excellent cutting properties with a central grain . As a result, the knife has excellent piercing properties while maintaining its strength. The strong mechanism of extending/retracting the blade with the help of the moled Thumb Slide, a stepped thumb slide requires for safety the application of a specific force to overcome the resistance of the spring. The method of opening provides seamless opening for both right and left-handed people.

Handle - made with excellent precision in 3D technology on CNC milling machines, from anodized aluminum 6061-T6. The surface texture of the Handle makes the knife non-slip in the hand during use. There are notches (jimping) on the back and bottom of the handle for a more secure grip. Slim profile and milled from titanium, the two-position (right/left) pocket clip allows the knife to be carried in tip-down (blade tip down) position. Equipped with a smooth rollerball, which allows the knife to slide easily into a pocket without damaging the pocket edges.
