Hera II D/E Merlot Aluminum, Apocalyptic one of the most versatile OTF (Out The Front) automatic knives. Modeled on the iconic Troodon model , it is a link between EDC models and strictly tactical designs . An automatic of above-average strength with a mechanism operating in D/A (Double Action) mode, ensuring fast, strong and secure extension and retraction of the blade. Hera Series - tactical automatic knives OTF, combining utility and aesthetics in perfect proportions. Models are available with D/E and S/E blades , and their handles are made of anodized aircraft aluminum. A unique feature of the Hera series is the precision-milled titanium pocket clip, equipped with a smooth rollerball, which allows the knife to slide extremely easily and smoothly into any pocket.

M390MK - a collaboration between Microtech and Böhler engineers resulted in an exclusive version of M390 steel made only for Microtech. The carbon content has been increased and subjected to closer scrutiny thus improving the properties of M390 steel for better edge retention, corrosion resistance and polishing. Martensitic high-performance chromium steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to its alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of “wire” during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 19.0% (Cr) doped with 1.95% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), and is hardened between 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Blade - machine-ground D/E (Double Edge) with Dagger profile. Finished with matte Apocalyptic patination , which gives it an aged character and effectively masks minor scratches from use. The discharge of the blade with a high flat gr ind (Flat Grind) with a central grain provides excellent cutting properties while maintaining high strength, and this design further enhances the piercing ability. The powerful blade's extension and retraction mechanism is operated by a mothballed Thumb Slide - a stepped thumb slide that, for safety, requires a pronounced force to overcome the spring's resistance. This mechanism allows both right- and left-handed people to operate the knife confidently, comfortably and intuitively.

Handle - made with the highest precision in 3D technology on CNC milling machines, from anodized 6061-T6 aluminum. The stepped surface texture provides a secure grip and prevents the knife from slipping in the hand during use. There are notches(jimping) on the back and bottom of the Handle for even better control. Handle's slim profile and titanium milled, two-position (right/left) pocket clip allows the knife to be carried in tip-down position (blade tip down). The clip is equipped with a smooth rollerball, which allows the knife to slide into the pocket lightly and smoothly, without damaging the edges of the pocket.
