- Miura Red Aluminum, Stonewashed compact folding knife designed by Simone Tonolli, winner of the Imported Knife of the Year award at the 2022 Blade Show. The shape and size allow for easy carrying whether in a pocket, backpack or bag!

This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
Miura Red Aluminum, Stonewashed is an ultra-compact premium folder designed by Simone Tonolli, which won the 2022 Imported Knife of the Year title at the Blade Show. This model was created for the most demanding EDC users, combining Italian elegance with uncompromising functionality - offering cutting precision, modern design and the use of high-end materials. The sheepsfoot profile head , made of CPM MagnaCut powder steel, provides exceptional edge durability, corrosion resistance and the ability to maintain sharpness for a long time - even under heavy daily use. The stonewashed finish masks scratches from use and reduces material adhesion, promoting ease of maintenance. Optimized geometry promotes precise, controlled cuts. The overall design is built on a uniform aluminum construction (integral frame) anodized in red - an advanced solution found only in the most refined designs. The handle is characterized by ergonomic contouring and extremely low weight (about 52 g), making the Miura a knife almost imperceptible in the pocket. The opening mechanism is based on ball bearings, and the whole is secured by a precise button lock, which allows comfortable and smooth folding of the blade with one hand. On the back of the handle there is a deep carry clip and a hole for a cord. The MKM Miura is a proposition for users expecting maximum precision, lightness and technical sophistication in a compact format - an ideal EDC folder in the high-end segment .

CPM MagnaCut - powder stainless steel produced using the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy(CPM) process hardened to 60.5-62.5 HRC. The high content of vanadium 4.0% (V), molybdenum 2.0% (Mo) and niobium 2.0% (Nb) guarantees accuracy and purity unmatched by more “conventional” steels. Designed and developed specifically for blade production by Larrin Thomas, it meets all the requirements of knife enthusiasts. With CPM MagnaCut succeeded in creating a steel that combines the unique properties of knife steels like no other. The result is a blade material that offers a remarkable balance of wear resistance, strength and corrosion resistance. There is no other steel on the world market today that offers a comparable combination of superior properties. This exceptional steel is produced at Crucible® Industries' American steel mills.
The head - Sheepsfoot type with a slightly curved cutting edge provides excellent edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The surface of the blade has been finished using the stonewashed method, which minimizes the visibility of scratches and reflections. The small thickness of the blade combined with a high, flat grind (Flat Grind) results in excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearings are responsible for the smooth operation of the opening mechanism . The knife can be opened with a dual thumb stud in the blade on both sides (dual thumb stud) or by gravity, by releasing the lock. The whole thing is locked with an intuitive button lock.
Handle - from a single piece of aluminum, machined on CNC milling machines. Monolithic skeleton (body) of the highest strength, which is a solid structural element that guarantees the rigidity and strength of the entire structure. Only a few companies are able to make the handle with such incredible accuracy! The simplicity and solidity of the construction give the assurance of many years of use. Textured surface for improved grip quality. The two-position (right/left), deep-carry clip allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position. The pivot axis is decorated with an aluminum rim(pivot collar ring).
Additional accessories - included is a zippered soft nylon case with the manufacturer's logo for safe storage and transportation of the folder, and a T6/T8 torx wrench.
