- RT-Meteor RTPT-BD Black DLC Titanium/Gray Carbon Fiber, Black DLC - premium folding knife with M390 steel Blade and Titanium type Handle enhanced with Carbon Fiber composite inlays. Technical precision, modern aesthetics and maximum durability.

This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
RT-Meteor RTPT-BD Black DLC Titanium/Gray Carbon Fiber, Black DLC is an advanced design by Remette, with a focus on maximum utility and design consistency. Designed with discerning EDC users and collectors in mind, this knife is a harmonious blend of premium materials, ergonomic form and technical finesse of workmanship. Every detail has been considered to ensure a balance between functionality and aesthetics. Blade made of Böhler M390 powder steel is the basis of this design. Thanks to its excellent sharpness retention, abrasion resistance and stable performance in a wide variety of conditions, this material performs well both in everyday use and under intense stress. The profile of the blade used has been optimized for precision and cutting power, and a properly selected grind facilitates penetration and control of the cutting line. Handle milled from titanium, is a guarantee of structural rigidity and high mechanical resistance. Incorporated carbon fiber inlays not only reduce weight, but also enrich the design with a distinctive visual accent. The whole is complemented by ergonomic shaping of the handle, designed to provide comfort of use, grip security and control even during prolonged work. RT-Meteor is a proposal aimed at customers who appreciate modern design, advanced technology in materials processing and reliability in everyday use. This knife meets the highest functional criteria, while maintaining a premium aesthetic that makes it worthy of both field use and a place in the collection.
M390 - a martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of “wire” during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), and is hardened between 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) durability of the blade surface is enhanced with a matte black nanocomposite coating that exhibits unique properties such as exceptional hardness and low friction, as well as excellent corrosion protection. It is one of the most resistant coatings to scratches and abrasion that are used in industry, including the knife industry.
Blade - Böhler M390 powder steel, used in the construction of the blade, provides an optimal combination of durability and corrosion resistance, while maintaining a high level of sharpness retention. Blade with universal drop point profile allows you to effectively perform both precise tasks, as well as dynamic cuts requiring force. The applied flat grind makes it easier to guide the blade in the material, while stabilizing the edge during operation. These qualities make the knife perfect for the role of a high-end EDC tool. The Frame Lock button-release lock allows us to open the knife with gravity. In addition, two classic opening methods, front flipper and thumb stud.
Handle - made of titanium, designed for maximum durability and purity of technical form. Stable construction eliminates weakening points, and carbon fiber inlays perform both aesthetic and ergonomic functions , improving grip and reducing weight. The contoured edges and carefully refined proportions of the handle promote operational stability and comfort for long-term use. The attachment clip allows convenient and discreet carrying, without disturbing the lines of the design. Handle design captures the spirit of technological aesthetics, which is part of the Remette brand DNA.
