Demko MG AD20S Clip Point Knife Smooth Titanium, Stonewashed CPM20CV by Andrew Demko (MGAD20S-MAG-SM-TI-CP)
- MG AD20S Clip Point Smooth Titanium, Stonewashed, premium full-size folding knife with titanium Handle, 20CV CPM steel Blade and patented Shark-Lock™. Designed by Andrew Demko for the most demanding users.

This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
The MG AD20S Clip Point Smooth Titanium, Stonewashed is a flagship folder designed by Andrew Demko, acclaimed designer and former Cold Steel designer, who incorporated his most advanced mechanism - Shark-Lock™- in this model. The design develops a line of premium utility knives, aimed at professionals and collectors looking for maximum reliability and mechanical resistance. Each unit is manufactured in the USA, which further emphasizes the high standards of workmanship and material quality. Blade is made of CPM 20CV powder steel, known for its excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance. The clip point profile with a pronounced belly and stonewashed finish ensure versatile use and effectively mask signs of use. The blade can be unfolded by means of a peg or an elongated hole in the wedge for quick and intuitive one-handed operation. Handle made of titanium, with deep finger cutouts and texture to improve grip. The whole is reinforced with steel spacer sleeves, and the low-profile deep carry clip allows for convenient carrying. The design is bolted together with Torx screws , which makes disassembly and maintenance easy. Central to the design is the Shark-Lock™ lock, considered one of the strongest and most functional locks on the market. Intuitively operated with the thumb, it works symmetrically - ideal for both right- and left-handed users. The MG AD20S is a tool without compromise - designed for trouble-free operation in all conditions.
Andrew Demko - owner and founder of Demko Knives, first started forging chisels in 1988, when he was in seventh grade. He immediately realized it was his passion and began forging knives almost immediately. Like many blacksmiths, Andrew began his journey in the garage, honing blade shapes and sharpening them on a small grinder. Andrew's passion for engineering and attention to detail was noticed by the well-known Cold Steel company. At Cold Steel, Andrew developed some of the most innovative and powerful locking mechanisms in the industry. The legendary Tri-Ad Lock, Scorpion Lock, and most recently the one-handed operator's dream - the Shark-Lock.
CPM 20CV - one of the best tool steels, American premium martensitic stainless steel. Produced by US Crucible Industries using the particle metallurgy / Crucible® Particle Metallurgy(CPM) method. The CPM process creates a very homogeneous, high-quality steel with excellent dimensional stability, grindability and ductility compared to steels produced by conventional methods. Designed to provide better wear resistance while maintaining corrosion resistance at the highest level. This super steel is comparable to Bohler's M390 steel or Carpenter's CTS-204P. According to some knife manufacturers, 20CV is the best of these three steels in terms of edge retention. It consists of 19.0% carbon (C), 20.0% chromium (Cr), 4.0% vanadium (V), 1.0% molybdenum (Mo) and 0.6% tungsten (W). The high percentage of chromium with a touch of molybdenum makes 20CV one of the best high-end corrosion-resistant steels.
Blade - with a clip point profile with a strongly defined belly and a gently rising back, which translates into high cutting control and efficiency in work. Used CPM 20CV steel is a powder material with exceptional resistance to wear, rust and loss of sharpness. Blade surface has been finished with a stonewashed method, which minimizes the visibility of scratches and reflections. The user has a thumb stud and an elongated opening, which allow the user to quickly unfold the blade with one hand. Milling on the back (jimping) a ids in precise blade guidance and increases safety with firm pressure.
Handle grips - milled titanium grips, distinguished by lightness, rigidity and resistance to external conditions. The tactile texture and profiled undercuts promote a secure grip, even with gloves. Steel spacer sleeves increase the rigidity of the overall design, and a deep carry clip allows for convenient and discreet pocket carry. In addition, a left-side clip is included, for left-handed users. Torx-style mounting components simplify removal and servicing of the knife. The Shark-Lock™, located at the top of the Handle, works instantly, providing full control and safety, regardless of your preferred grip or dominant hand.
