- Micro 1 Olive Wood, Satin ultralight 40g fixed blade knife. Strong, short of M390 steel, the blade has a rounded cutting edge that is extremely versatile and a sheath suitable for carrying in a pocket or around the neck. Designed by Jesper Voxnaes.

This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
Mikro 1 Olive Wood, Satin is a compact fixed blade knife designed by Jesper Voxnaes - a Danish knifemaker known for combining Nordic minimalism with maximum functionality. This model was created for users looking for a lightweight, discreet and sturdy EDC tool, which will work well for both precise everyday tasks and outdoor applications requiring reliability. Blade made of Böhler M390 powder steel offers exceptional corrosion resistance, high hardness and durability of the cutting edge - even under heavy use. A satin finish, which adds elegance while reducing material adhesion to the blade, has been applied. The gently curved line of the blade ensures precise cuts while maintaining versatility of form. The full tang design increases the rigidity of the tool and guarantees full control of the blade in all conditions. The natural olive wood Handle adds a sophisticated touch to the overall design, and its smoothly contoured form provides a comfortable and secure grip. Its light weight and dimensions allow it to be carried every day without strain, and the included leather sheath allows for convenient and discreet carrying - either around the neck or in a pocket. The MKM Mikro 1 is an option for those who want a knife with a compact format, top-quality workmanship and full functionality in a minimalist style.
Jesper Voxnaes began making knives in 1989, when he was just 18 years old, forging each blade completely on his own. His unique style stems from the meeting of his roots in world-renowned Scandinavian design with his passion for American knifemaking. This original approach quickly made his knives very popular, especially in the US, so much so that he was able to expand his business with machines he made himself. Since then, he has been a professional knifemaker and has worked as a designer with many top knife companies, achieving great success in many different fields.
M390 - a martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to its alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of “wire” during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), and is hardened between 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - Drop Point type with a prominent belly provides excellent edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Plain blade led out with Full Flat Grind, finished with an elegant satin finish. Finger choil, a deep index finger undercut between the Handle and the cutting edge, facilitates control of the knife and protects fingers from slipping on the blade.
Handle - olive wood grips . Screwed directly to the steel, they provide a virtually indestructible construction. Around the screw a decorative ring of titanium. All knives with facings are equipped with a 6/8 Torx key screwdriver , which allows you to remove the covers and transform the knife into a version with a skeletonized handle. The unique ergonomics allow the knife to be held in both normal and reverse grip. On the back of the Handle an enlarged lanyard hole, a hole for a rope.
Sheath - lightweight with double magnetic clasp for wearing around the neck (with leather thong included) or in the pocket. Adapted for both right and left-handed people.
