Warning and Safety Information for the KnifeMore

This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.

Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.

A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.

When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.

Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.

Denis Simonutti, born in 1986 in Maniago, is an Italian designer and knifemaker from Friuli. He has been active in the knifemaking industry since 2010 and is known as the inventor of the Fingers Safe Opening System locking system . His passions are mountaineering and photography, which he combines with his design skills to create knives with unique design and functionality. He works with the Fox brand for which he designed the “The Claw” series of Karambit knives, combining oriental style with practical use.

Tommaso Rumici is a knife enthusiast who has been associated with the Italian magazine “Coltelli” since 2009. His passion and knowledge led to a collaboration with Viper as the designer of the Fearless knife, limited to 300 copies and now highly sought after by collectors around the world. In the following years, he was able to expand his activities as a designer by establishing collaborations not only with Viper, but also with other major brands. Tommaso is passionate about knives in general, but is most fond of outdoor-military blades.

CPM MagnaCut - a powder stainless steel produced by the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy(CPM) process hardened to 60.5-62.5 HRC. The high content of vanadium 4.0% (V), molybdenum 2.0% (Mo) and niobium 2.0% (Nb) guarantees accuracy and purity unmatched by more “conventional” steels. Designed and developed specifically for blade production by Larrin Thomas, it meets all the requirements of knife enthusiasts. With CPM MagnaCut succeeded in creating a steel that combines the unique properties of knife steels like no other. The result is a blade material that offers a remarkable balance of wear resistance, strength and corrosion resistance. There is no other steel on the world market today that offers a comparable combination of superior properties. This exceptional steel is manufactured at Crucible® Industries' American steel mills.

Blade - made of modern CPM MagnaCut powder steel , which is distinguished by excellent resistance to corrosion, abrasion and micro-damage, while offering very good sharpness retention and high impact strength. Its lambsfoot profile with a straight edge line and gently sloping back allows for precise, controlled cuts, especially when working close to the material. The full flat grind used facilitates penetration and reduces resistance when guiding the blade, making it a versatile tool for everyday use. The stonewashed finish adds utility and effectively masks signs of use, so the blade retains its aesthetics for a long time. Blade's geometry and steel properties make the blade perfect for tasks requiring both precision and durability.

Handle - made of field-resistant composite Canvas Micarta, which is formed by soaking layers of cotton fabric in epoxy resin. This lightweight and durable material provides good grip, even with wet hands, and high resistance to abrasion, temperature and water. Grips are mounted on steel liners, allowing the use of liner lock, which guarantees safety and rigidity of construction. Gently rounded edges, subtle milling and a contoured backspacer improve ergonomics and increase grip comfort in any position. The stainless steel deep-carry clip , mounted in the tip-up position with the option of flipping to the other side, provides discreet knife carrying and full ambidextrousness. The whole is completed by the front flipper type opening mechanism , based on ball bearings, which offers a fast and quiet opening of the blade. The Handle of the MK IC-GG model is a combination of ergonomics, lightness and aesthetics - an ideal base for a new generation EDC folder.

Additional accessories - a zippered soft nylon case with the brand's logo and a T6/T8 torx key.
