Blade - Plain smooth blade brought out with a Full Flat Grind. Round SpyderHole cutout (Spyderco patent) for ambidextrous thumb opening. Refined, precision-machined Back-Lock Blade locking mechanism guarantees extremely smooth operation. The notched thumb rest (upper jimping) on the back of the blade and the Finger Choil (an undercut for the index finger between the Handle and the cutting edge) make it easier to control the knife.
Handle - profiled, covered with non-slip textured grips in Yellow, provides a comfortable and secure grip. Non-slipbi-directional textured covers(Bi-Directional Texturing) and notched notches on the back of the Handle(Spine Jimping) strengthen the grip even with wet hands. Made of FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon), a fiberglass-reinforced nylon plastic. The covers are attached to a stainless steel spacer / connector for the Handle grips (backspacer), which provides strength and rigidity to the whole structure.
