Maserin 630 Pulse Black Micarta, Stonewashed is an elegant folding knife that combines Italian precision with modern materials. Designed by Igor Bortolussi, this model stands out for its minimalist design and high functionality. Igor Bortolussi, an outstanding knife designer, has worked with MKM for years, where he honed his skills by collaborating with various designers. His talent resulted in the creation of the Mirror 1 model for Viper Knives, which reflects his deep understanding of aesthetics and functionality. Then, developing his vision, he designed Mirror 2, continuing the line of elegant and precise tools. In collaboration with the Maserin brand, Bortolussi created the EDC folder called Pulse, which stands out for its modern design and high-quality workmanship.

CPM MagnaCut – powder stainless steel produced in the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process, hardened in the range of 60.5-62.5 HRC. The high vanadium content of 4.0% (V), molybdenum content of 2.0% (Mo) and niobium content of 2.0% (Nb) guarantee a level of precision and purity that is unmatched by more “conventional” steels. Specially designed and developed for blade production by Larrin Thomas, it meets all the requirements of knife enthusiasts. Thanks to CPM MagnaCut, it has been possible to create a steel that combines the unique properties of knife steels like no other. The result is a blade material that offers an extraordinary balance between wear resistance, strength and corrosion resistance. Currently, there is no other steel on the world market that offers a comparable combination of excellent properties. This unique steel is produced in the American steelworks of Crucible® Industries.

W-Lock - an innovative blade locking system. The two-way lock secures the blade in the open position. The knife is closed by moving the backspacer backwards, which eliminates accidental unlocking of the blade.

Blade - drop point type, finished with the Stonewashed method, which effectively masks traces of use. The optimal blade thickness combined with a Full Flat Grind guarantees excellent cutting edge geometry and precise cutting. The opening mechanism based on double-sided thumb studs allows for quick and intuitive one-handed blade deployment. The spine of the blade has upper jimping – a textured thumb rest that improves the precision of the blade during work. The knife is equipped with a modern W-Lock locking mechanism, which ensures safety and stability during work, even with intensive use.

Handle – made of Micarta composite, a material resistant to moisture, chemicals and mechanical damage. The textured surface ensures excellent grip and control over the tool. A solid backspacer reinforces the structure, guaranteeing adequate rigidity and strength. The simple and robust design of the handle ensures comfort and reliability for many years. The single position, right-handed clip allows the knife to be carried comfortably in the tip-up position.
