M390 – martensitic high-performance chromium steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it is characterized by extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Thanks to its high wear resistance, it retains the shape of the edge properly, keeping the blade sharp for a very long time (requires minimal maintenance). Another advantage is the resistance to “wire” formation during sharpening. Steel with a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) with an admixture of 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), hardened to 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Button Liner Lock - an excellent solution where a button in the pivot is responsible for folding back the Liner Lock blade, allowing you to fold the knife without putting your fingers under the blade track.
Blade - Reverse Tanto type, finished with a fine hand grinding pearlescent, giving a pearlescent shine that provides a stunning visual effect. The long cutting edge with a prominent belly converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the wide blade. The thickness of the blade ensures high durability, while the high, flat grind guarantees excellent cutting properties. Ceramic ball bearings are responsible for the smooth operation of the blade extension mechanism. Flipper front fin for quick opening; the knife can also be opened using the hole in the handle (thumb hole) or by gravity, releasing the button in the pivot. Upper jimping on the back of the blade, a corrugated thumb rest. The whole is locked with an intuitive button liner lock.
Handle - thick pieces of sandblasted titanium 6AL4V, beautifully milled using CNC machine tools. The titanium backspacer to which the grips are attached guarantees the rigidity and strength of the entire structure. The simplicity and robustness of the construction ensure many years of use. The single position clip (right) made of titanium allows the knife to be carried in the tip-up position. The pivot axis with the Button Liner Lock is decorated with gold-colored titanium caps. On the right side, there is a slider for additional safety, which prevents accidental release of the blade. The protruding part of the backspacer has a place for threading a safety or decorative cord.
