M390 - martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced using powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it is characterized by extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Thanks to its high wear resistance, it retains its edge shape, keeping the blade sharp for a very long time (requires minimal maintenance). Another advantage is its resistance to “wire” formation during sharpening. Steel with a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) and an admixture of 1.9% carbon (C) and 4.0% vanadium (V), hardened to a range of 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) blade surface durability is increased by a black, matte nanocomposite coating that exhibits unique properties such as exceptional hardness and low friction, as well as excellent corrosion protection. It is one of the most scratch and wear resistant coatings used in the industry, including the knife industry.

The thickness of the blade ensures high durability, while the high, flat grind guarantees excellent cutting properties. Ceramic ball bearings are responsible for the smooth operation of the blade extension mechanism. Discreet flipper fin for quick opening; the knife can also be opened using the double-sided, elaborately milled thumb stud. Upper jimping on the back of the blade, a corrugated thumb rest. The whole is locked with the proven and popular liner lock.
Handle - exoskeleton made of titanium 6AL4V also covered with a black DLC coating, on which a monolithic casing is attached, beautifully milled using CNC machine tools from a single piece of titanium. The innovative design ensures outstanding robustness and resistance. The whole is subjected to a manual Ceramic Sandblasting process. The back of the knife has a locking slider, which allows the outer casing to be removed, e.g. to clean the blade. The single-position titanium (right) deep carry clip allows the knife to be carried discreetly in a pocket in a tip-up position (with the tip of the blade up).
Case - a soft nylon pouch with a zipper and the manufacturer's name is included for safe storage and transportation of the folder.
