- Trail Black Carbon Fiber, Satin, large outdoor knife designed by Jens Ansø, a well-known Danish maker. Massive Böhler N690Co stainless steel blade, comfortable Carbon Fiber composite handle. Includes a classic leather sheath that attaches to a belt.

This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
Trail Black Carbon Fiber, Satin is an advanced outdoor knife designed by the renowned Danish knifemaker Jens Ansø. The blade is made of Böhler N690Co stainless steel, which is corrosion-resistant and easy to sharpen. The semi-hidden tang construction and blade profile guarantee excellent durability during intensive outdoor work. The handle is made of a modern carbon fiber composite, with a striped texture. This ensures a secure grip, even with wet hands or when wearing gloves. This material is resistant to mechanical damage, moisture and extreme temperatures. The whole is complemented by a solid sheath made of natural leather. It is equipped with a practical belt attachment for convenient carrying of the tool. Every detail of the knife shows the designer's attention to ergonomics, aesthetics and solid workmanship. The product is appreciated by both collectors and users who demand reliable equipment.
Jens Ansø, a Danish industrial designer and knife maker, began his career in 1988. The founder of ANSØ of DENMARK in 2001, he is known for the flowing lines, harmony and perfection of his work. His knives, both fixed and folding, reflect an extraordinary attention to detail and soft shapes. He has collaborated with companies such as Spyderco, Böker and Fox Knives, and his designs have been mass-produced. Anso is also valued for his use of exclusive materials and innovative approach to design.
N690Co - rich in cobalt 1.65% (Co), corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo) and vanadium 0.10% (V). Developed to provide better wear resistance compared to the original Böhler N690 steel, but with a higher cobalt (Co) content. It is characterized by extremely high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. Hardened to 59-61 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - wide, clip point type with elegant satin finish. The pronounced belly lengthens the cutting edge in relation to the length of the wide blade. The thickness of the blade and flat grinding provide excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The spine jimping on the back of the blade provides a solid thumb rest, making it easier to handle the knife.
Handle - made of carbon fiber composite, a material that is not sensitive to weather conditions and resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. The rounded shape of the covers eliminates sharp edges and the striped texture further improves grip. The unique ergonomics of the handle allow the knife to be held in both directions, especially for users who prefer an inverted grip. There is a lanyard hole at the back of the handle for attaching a safety line.
Sheath - when designing the sheath, great emphasis was placed on ease of carrying and drawing the knife. Traditional sheath made of high-quality leather, with a flap to prevent falling out and the possibility of hanging it on a belt.
