9Cr18MoV - high-grade stainless knife steel. The high content of 18.0% chromium (Cr) and an average of 0.95% carbon (C) ensure high hardness and corrosion resistance, and the addition of alloying elements 1.3% molybdenum (Mo), 0.8% silicon (Si), 0.12% vanadium (V) increase strength and wear resistance. 9Cr18MoV is characterized by a high hardness of 58-60 HRC. Used in the production of knives, including Damascus and surgical blades, swords, scissors, cutlery.
Blade - Wharncliffe type with a straight cutting edge, covered with a black coating. The small thickness of the blade in combination with the high, hollow grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade opening mechanism, which can be opened with a quick flipper fin (index-finger flipper). Once opened, the flipper forms a mini guard to prevent the hand from slipping onto the blade. The knife can also be opened using the pin on both sides of the handle. On the spine of the blade, there is upper jimping, a corrugated support for the thumb. The whole is locked with a solid liner lock.
Handle - made of exotic Guibourtia wood with a unique grain pattern. Beveled edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges for a comfortable grip. The open open-backed design, secured with steel spacer sleeves, reduces weight and facilitates cleaning. Forefinger groove on the front improves grip. Two-position right/left-handed deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in a tip-up position (with the tip of the blade facing upwards).
