729,13 €This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
Stitch-A S/E Signature Shadow DLC Aluminum, Shadow DLC The automatic version of the bold design of the versatile tactical knife, a collaboration between Sebastijan Berenji and Microtech. The wide blade and the straight handle, comfortable in any grip, make for a strong tactical knife made with attention to the smallest details and the best materials. A faithful companion that will never let you down
Borka Blades (Sebastijan Berenji) is a very popular custom knife maker with skills that attract a large number of blade enthusiasts. Sebastijan was born and raised in Yugoslavia and became a US citizen in 2016. The company is named after his late mother, Borka. A few years after starting his career as a knifemaker, he designed a unique folding knife that attracted a lot of attention among collectors and enthusiasts. Not only did he draw attention to himself, but he also caught the eye of Microtech Knives CEO Anthony Marfione, who offered him a partnership.
Shadow Series – knives in this series are distinguished by their completely black finish on the blade, handle, hardware, and clip, making them some of the most discreet Microtech models available on the market.
Signature Series - an elite line of Microtech products designed for buyers who are looking for a more exclusive touch to the much-loved Core Series production models (logo with claws on the knife). The highest quality materials and finishes are often used in the production of Signature Series knives. The line also includes themed knives such as Bounty Hunter, Memento Mori and Molon Labe. A distinctive feature is the marking with the dagger logo on the Handle and Anthony Marfione's signature on the clip.
M390MK - thanks to the cooperation of Microtech and Böhler engineers, an exclusive version of M390 steel was created, made only for Microtech. The carbon content was increased and subjected to more thorough control, improving the properties of M390 steel to ensure better edge retention, corrosion resistance and polishing. A martensitic high-performance chromium steel produced using powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it is characterized by extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it keeps its edge well, which means that the blade stays sharp for a very long time (minimal maintenance required). Another advantage is that it is resistant to “wire” formation during sharpening. Steel with a high chromium content of 19.0% (Cr) and an admixture of 1.95% carbon (C), 4.0% vanadium (V), hardened to 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) blade surface durability is increased by a black, matt nanocomposite coating, which exhibits unique properties such as exceptional hardness and low friction, as well as excellent corrosion protection. It is one of the most scratch- and wear-resistant coatings used in industry, including the knife industry.
Blade - wide, S/E type (Single Edge) Spear Point, covered with a black Shadow DLC coating. The gently curved cutting edge converges towards a needle-sharp tip. The robust blade thickness in combination with the flat grind provides excellent cutting properties combined with high durability. The long, false edge on the back increases the already high piercing properties. To maintain full control over the blade, there is a large, serrated finger choil at the bottom and upper jimping, a corrugated thumb rest, on the back of the blade. The whole knife is locked with the well-known and proven Button Lock.
Handle - CNC milled with high precision from 6061-T6 aluminum, with a deep-drawn Tri-Grip structure. The wide blade opening button is recessed to prevent accidental opening. Both grips are screwed together with a solid, blue anodized titanium backspacer. All screws and clips are also DLC coated. The reversible (right/left) clip allows you to carry the knife in a discreet tip-up position. The protruding part of the backspacer, which has a hole for a cord, can also be used as an improvised glass breaker.
