The blade is made of Böhler M390 powder steel, which is considered one of the best in the knife industry. Its main advantages are high corrosion resistance and long-lasting sharpness. The handle is made of a combination of lightweight yet extremely durable titanium and Shredded Carbon Fiber composite. Thanks to this, the knife not only looks exceptionally elegant, but also ensures a secure grip and precise control during work. Two locks -frame lock and button lock - provide the user with the highest level of safety and comfort of use in all conditions. Each knife is hand-finished, ensuring the unique character of each piece.
M390 - martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced using powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it is characterized by extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Thanks to its high wear resistance, it retains its edge shape, keeping the blade sharp for a very long time (requires minimal maintenance). Another advantage is its resistance to “wire” formation during sharpening. Steel with a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) with an admixture of 1.9% carbon (C), 4.0% vanadium (V), hardened to 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - Modified Spear Point type, finished with a manual grinding to achieve a pearl luster. Blade thickness ensures high durability, while high, flat grinding provides excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The long false blade increases the penetrating properties. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade opening mechanism, which can be opened with a thumb stud or front flipper. Upper jimping, a corrugated thumb rest, on the spine of the blade. The whole is secured with the tried and tested button lock and frame lock with a steel inlay to prevent the lock face from wearing off.
Handle - 6AL4V titanium bolsters, Shredded Carbon Fiber composite handle made of virtually indestructible material, resistant to weather conditions, chemicals and mechanical damage. Beveled edges on the covers eliminate sharp edges. The grips are screwed to a solid titanium backspacer, ensuring that the desired stiffness of the entire structure is maintained. On the left side, there is a wide Button Lock, recessed to prevent accidental opening. The The single-position (right) titanium deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in a tip-up position (with the tip of the blade up).
