D2 - high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. Thanks to its high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combination of strength, excellent edge retention and easy sharpening. Characterized by high wear resistance due to high carbide content in the microstructure.
Blade - modified Straight Back S/E (Single Edge), coated with a black titanium-based coating. The pronounced belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade, converging towards a needle-sharp tip. The thickness of the blade in combination with the high flat grind gives excellent cutting properties combined with high durability. The blade opening can be opened with a quick flipper fin (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini guard to prevent the hand from slipping onto the blade. To maintain full control over the blade, there is upper jimping, a corrugated thumb rest on the back of the blade. The whole knife is locked with a proven and popular liner lock.
Handle - made with high precision from G10 composite, a practically indestructible material, insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. The surface texture and jimping on the back and bottom of the handle ensure that the knife does not slip in the hand during use. The sturdy backspacer with attached grips guarantees the rigidity and strength of the entire construction. The ergonomic profile and two-position (right/left) clip, which allows the knife to be carried discreetly in the pocket in a tip-up position (with the tip of the blade facing up). The protruding part of the backspacer contains a lanyard hole, a place for a safety or decorative cord. It can also be used as an improvised glass breaker.
Case - the knife is packed in a nylon soft pouch with a flap and Velcro fastener for safe carrying and storage of the folder.
