14C28N - martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in a range of knife steels produced by Sandvik's Swedish mills. This process increases the strength and structural integrity of the steel. Cryogenic Treatment Once heated, the steel is rapidly cooled to extremely low temperatures, often below -148°F (-100°C).
