The end of the handle is equipped with a rope hole, which allows you to attach the knife to a backpack or wrist, increasing the safety of use. 440A - a high-carbon (min. 0.95%) martensitic alloy stainless steel with a hardness of 57-59 HRC with impressively high strength and corrosion resistance, containing min. 16% chromium. The high carbon content results in the formation of chromium carbide compounds, providing wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for the manufacture of cutting tools for knife blades and scissors, as well as medical instruments.
Blade - blunt tip profile with rounded tip is designed to reduce the risk of accidental puncture. 440A stainless steel provides adequate strength and corrosion resistance - a material that is easy to sharpen and maintain. The flat grind improves cutting properties with low drag, which increases comfort and safety in use. A jimping notch is used on the back of the Blade , allowing stable thumb placement, which aids control of the knife when learning cutting techniques. The satin finish minimizes light reflections and gives the whole thing a subdued, technical look.
