Heretic Medusa Manual T/E Battleworn Gray Titanium, Battleworn MagnaCut Knife by Tony Marfione Jr. (H009-5A-TIBATTLE)
- Medusa-M T/E Battleworn Gray Titanium, Battleworn armor-built compact knife with massive blade made of finest MagnaCut steel. Powerful titanium handle that fits perfectly in the hand. Designed by Tony Marfione Jr. this is a tool built for heavy-duty use.

This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.
Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.
A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.
When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.
Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.
Medusa M (Manual) T/E Battleworn Gray Titanium, Battleworn folder is a compact tank bulit that can handle daily chores and more. CPM MagnaCut - powder stainless steel manufactured using the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process hardened to 60.5-62.5 HRC. The high content of vanadium 4.0% (V), molybdenum 2.0% (Mo) and niobium 2.0% (Nb) guarantees accuracy and purity unmatched by more “conventional” steels. Designed and developed specifically for blade production by Larrin Thomas, it meets all the requirements of knife enthusiasts. With CPM MagnaCut succeeded in creating a steel that combines the unique properties of knife steels like no other. The result is a blade material that offers a remarkable balance of wear resistance, strength and corrosion resistance. There is no other steel on the world market today that offers a comparable combination of superior properties. This unique steel is produced at Crucible® Industries' American steel mills.
Blade - wide and massive, is a modified T/E (Tanto Edge), finished with a striking Battleworn patination. The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards the needle-sharp tip. The solid thickness of the blade, combined with a high flat grind (Flat Grind), gives excellent cutting qualities combined with high durability. Ball bearings support the opening of the blade with a quick flipper (index-finger flipper) when opened acting as a stag. We can also open the knife using the oval hole in the blade (thumb hole/groove). To maintain full control of the blade, an upper jimping, notched thumb rest was made on the back of the wedge. The whole is locked with the proven and popular frame lock with a steel inlay to prevent wiping of the lock face.
Handle - made of titanium 6AL4V, beveled edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges. Battleworn patinated surface. The whole screwed to a solid backspacer, also made of titanium. The simplicity and solidity of the design give the assurance of many years of use. There are notches (jimping) on the edges of the Handle to improve grip. The pivot axis decorated with a designer screw. Milled, single-position (right) titanium deep-carry clip allows to carry the knife in tip-up position. Equipped with a smooth rollerball, which allows the knife to slide easily into the pocket without damaging the pocket edges. The protruding section of the backspacer can be used as an improvised glass breaker and includes a hole to weave a safety line through.
