14C28N - Martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in a range of knife steels produced by Sweden's Sandvik steel mills. An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Blade - Clip Point type, finished with a scratch-masking bath of fine Stonewashed pebbles. The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the wide blade converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade and flat grind give excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Notched section of the Blade's back, the spine jimping ramp positions the thumb, giving solid support, making it easier to operate the knife.
Handle - made of Carbon Fiber composite, practically indestructible plastic insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage, screwed directly to the blade, which ensures durable construction. The rounded shape of the covers eliminates sharp edges. The unique ergonomics of the Handle allows for prolonged work without fatigue. The protruding part of the tang can be used in the field as a glass striker.
Sheath - when designing, great emphasis was placed on the ease of carrying and retrieving the knife. Made of Kydex plastic. Comes with Tek-Lok, a practical multi-position mount suitable for attachment to the armor or to the trouser belt.
