CPM D2 - an improved, powder-coated version of the popular D2 steel. Air-hardened, high-carbon, high-chromium tool steel, hardened to a hardness of 60-62 HRC. It offers excellent wear resistance. It is machinable in the annealed state and, like other air-hardened tool steels, shows minimal deformation during hardening.
Blade - Modified Clip Point type finished with a scratch-masking Bead Blasted glass bath. The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. On the back, a long swedge improves piercing characteristics. Ceramic ball bearings support the opening of the blade with an elongated hole in the wedge. A section of the blade's back is covered with an upper jimping, notched thumb rest for easy control of the knife. The whole is locked with the proven and popular frame lock.
Handle - made of stainless steel of solid thickness, to which the grips made of G10 composite, practically indestructible plastic insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges and characteristic texturing of the surface improves grip security. The solid backspacer to which the grips are attached guarantees the rigidity and strength of the entire structure. A single-position, right-handed titanium clip in the shape of Mjolnir, Thor's hammer. It allows the knife to be carried in tip-up position, with the tip of the blade upward. Above the clip a lanyard hole, a hole for a safety or decorative cord.
