D2 - a high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat -treated to 58-60 HRC. With a high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. Features high wear resistance due to high carbide content in the microstructure.
Blade - wide, Drop Point S/E (Single Edge) type, sharpened on one side. Coated with a black titanium-based coating. The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards a needle-sharp tip. The thickness of the blade combined with a high flat grind gives excellent cutting properties combined with high strength. Opening the blade with a mothballed button, for safety there is a slider next to it for additional protection against accidental opening. To maintain full control of the blade, there is an upper jimping, notched thumb rest on the back of the wedge. The whole is locked with the proven and popular button lock.
Handle - made with excellent precision from G10 composite, a virtually indestructible plastic, insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. The surface texture and jimping on the back and bottom of the handle make the knife non-slip in the hand during use. The solid backspacer to which the grips are attached guarantees the rigidity and strength of the entire structure. The ergonomic profile and the two-position (right/left) clip, allow you to discreetly carry the knife in your pocket, in tip-up position (blade tip up). The backspacer features a lanyard hole, a place for a safety or decorative cord. The protruding section of the backspacer is molded into a glass breaker.
