Color Damascus - 10CR15MOV steel, with a small amount of other steels and alloys. Repeatedly forged and folded to create a Damascus pattern. The result is a steel that gives this knife its individual character.
AXLE Lock (Crossbar Lock) - a crossbar that moves horizontally in longitudinal cutouts in the steel side plates of the handle frame. When the knife is opened, the locking bar overlaps the back of the blade from above, preventing its return movement. This beam is pressed down by two springs. Unlocking is done by pulling back the locking bar, the ends of which are accessible through cutouts in the grips on the sides of the Handle grips. In the locked position, the bar presses against the cam surface at the rear of the Blade, preventing it from opening on its own. Advantages of the Axle Lock include resistance to contamination, practical insensitivity to dynamic loads, ease of operation with both right and left hands, and lightweight operation.
Blade - Drop Point type , finished with acid etching to emphasize damascus patterns. The long cutting edge, with a prominent belly, converges toward the needle-sharp tip of the wide blade. Thethickness of the blade ensures high strength while the high, flat grind guarantees excellent cutting properties. Ceramic ball bearings are responsible for the smooth and smooth operation of the blade advancement mechanism. The knife can be opened using a double-sided peg in the wedge (Thumb Stud) or by gravity, moving the lock button backwards. The whole thing is locked with an intuitive Axle Lock.
Handle - thick pieces of sandblasted titanium 6AL4V, beautifully milled using CNC machine tools , decorated with inlays (inlay) of titanium stained with Lightning Storm pattern . The titanium backspacer to which the grips are attached guarantees the rigidity and strength of the entire structure. The simplicity and solidity of the construction give the assurance of many years of use. The two-position clip (right/left), made of titanium, allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position. The decorative ring around the pivot, the so-called pivot collar, is made of gold anodized titanium.
