Robert Saniscalchi (R.S.Knifeworks) began making knives in 2012 with the idea of creating unique things and letting his creativity guide the process. Over the past decade, this process has resulted in some of the craziest designs in the industry, from folding knives to swords, axes and specialty tools. His distinctive Multigrind has become one of the most recognizable grinding styles in the knife industry today. In 2020, he began working with various manufacturing companies, offering his designs to a wider market at a more affordable price. Rob says that each of his knives is like a beautiful woman in a dress, but this woman is also a world-class martial artist. Attractive, but capable of becoming a savage in an instant.

Nitro-V stainless martensitic knife steel based on chromium introduced by New Jersey Steel Baron(NJSB). The manufacturer used the existing superior AEB-L knife steel and upgraded it with nitrogen and vanadium to improve edge performance and achieve high hardness and extreme corrosion resistance, especially crucial in the marine industry and humid environments. Nitro V can be used in diving knives because of its resistance to staining and corrosion. The recommended working hardness is between 58-62HRC, and it has very good impact strength compared to other steels. It is harder than stainless powder steels such as M390, Elmax and S35VN. Therefore, Nitro-V will be a good fit for knives that require good toughness.

Blade - Spear Point type with a gently marked belly, finished with an elegant satin finish. The small thickness of the blade, combined with a concave grind (Hollow Grind), gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearing ceramic supports the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened with either a dual thumb stud in the blade (dual thumb studs) or with a quick flipper flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade. On the back of the upper jimping wedge , a notched thumb rest. The whole is locked with a solid and proven liner lock.

Handle - made of G10 composite, two-tone texture gives an attractive look. Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges for comfort, and the fore finger groove made on the front improves grip security. The solid G10 backspacer provides the desired rigidity and strength of construction. The simple, secure design gives you the assurance of many years of use. The pivot axis is decorated with a stylized Civivi brand logo . The single-position (right), wide deep-carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up (blade tip up) position.

Case - the knife is packed in a zippered soft nylon case with the brand's logo. It is used for safe storage and transportation of the folder.
