Nitro-V stainless martensitic knife steel based on chromium introduced by New Jersey Steel Baron (NJSB). The manufacturer used the existing superior AEB-L knife steel and upgraded it with nitrogen and vanadium to improve edge performance and achieve high hardness and extreme corrosion resistance, especially crucial in the marine industry and humid environments. Nitro V can be used in diving knives because of its resistance to staining and corrosion. The recommended working hardness is between 58-62HRC, and it has very good impact strength compared to other steels. It is harder than stainless powder steels such as M390, Elmax and S35VN. Therefore, Nitro-V will be a good fit for knives that require good toughness.

PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) - The resistance of the surface of the blade and the cutting edge is enhanced by a vacuum deposition method used to deposit thin films by condensing an evaporated form of the desired material onto the surface of the workpiece. The coating method involves a purely physical process such as high-temperature vacuum evaporation followed by condensation. The applied coating has a very high hardness which significantly increases the resistance of the blade to rust and abrasive wear.

Blade - Drop Point type, coated with black PVD coating. The definite curve of the cutting edge converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearings support the opening of the blade with a dual thumb stud in the wedge on both sides. A section of the back of the wedge is covered with upper jimping, a notched thumb rest for easy control of the knife. The whole thing is locked with the proven and popular button lock hidden in the pivot. Simply squeeze the pivot with your fingers to unlock the blade.

Handle - grips made of G10 composite, a virtually indestructible plastic that is insensitive to weather conditions, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. Holes in the Handle subtract weight and visually relieve pressure on the handle. Chamfered cover edges eliminate sharp edges and distinctive surface texturing improves grip security. The solid backspacer to which the grips are attached guarantees the rigidity and strength of the entire structure. On the left side of the slide locking the possibility of accidental release of the lock. The two-position (right/left) clip allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position, with the tip of the blade upwards.
