DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) durability of the blade surface is enhanced with a matte black nanocomposite coating that exhibits the unique properties of natural diamonds, such as exceptional hardness and low friction, also corrosion resistance. It is one of the most resistant coatings to scratches and abrasion that are used in the industry, including the knife industry.
Blade - machine ground D/E (Double Edge Dagger) type with a double-edged symmetrical blade coated with black DLC coating. The blade was derived with a high flat grind (Flat Grind), providing excellent cutting properties. The centrally placed grain grooves (blood-draining slots) increase the Blade's strength. As a result, while retaining its strength, the knife has excellent piercing properties. The mechanism of extending / retracting the blade by means of a moled stepped Thumb Slide requiring for safety the application of a specific force to overcome the resistance of the spring.
Handle - precisely made on CNC milling machines from 6061-T6 aluminum with a perfectly matched inlay of sandpaper-like plastic so that the knife does not slip in the hand during use. There are notches (jimping) on the edges of the Handle to improve grip. The slim design allows the knife to be tucked and carried in any pocket. The milled, two-position reversible (right/left) titanium deep-carry clip allows the knife to be carried discreetly in a pocket in tip-down position (blade tip down). The Handle is finished with a glass breaker.
