N690 - Cobalt-rich 1.65% (Co) corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C) martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V). Developed to provide better wear resistance compared to the original Böhler N690 steel, but with higher cobalt (Co) content in its composition. It features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. Hardened in the range of 59-61 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - Spear Point type blade, sharpened on one side, finished with a scratch-masking bath of fine Stonewashed pebbles and then coated in black. The gently curved cutting edge converges toward the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The small thickness of the blade, combined with the Flat Grind, results in excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance.
Handle - grips made of G10, a virtually indestructible plastic that is insensitive to weather, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage, attached directly to the tang. Simple, solid construction guarantees many years of use. Fore Finger Groove on the bottom and top, a deep cut under the fingers and a back ring / tail ring / pommel ring prevent the knife from slipping when the going gets tough and also allow you to do simple manual work without putting the knife down.
Sheath - made of kydex equipped with a Tek-Lok attachment that allows us to carry the knife in different positions. We can also carry the knife around the neck using a chain or paracord.
