Attilio “Atti” Morotti, born in Bergamo in 1957, is a highly regarded craftsman and knife maker. His passion for craftsmanship began with his work in a mechanical workshop, and led him to create his own brand of knives, Atti Knives. In addition to being a craftsman, Morotti is also an avid motorcyclist who has traveled many of the roads of Italy and Europe. His interest in knives began when he visited a knife-making exhibition, where he was fascinated by the mastery and quality of the work on display. This experience inspired him to create his first fixed blade knife in 2002. Despite his lack of formal training, through determination and a love of craftsmanship, Morotti was able to create knives of recognized quality. His skills earned him the title of “Master of the Italian Knife Guild” in 2007. Atti Knives are true works of applied art. Morotti starts with simple sketches, which are then refined with the utmost attention to detail. He uses a variety of materials, such as stainless steel, damascus steel, mother-of-pearl, mammoth fossils and stabilized wood. Each piece is unique, ensuring a truly artisanal design

PTC (Polyhedral Tungsten Carbide) - a flexible type of tungsten carbide that outperforms steel in terms of edge durability. Thanks to a new technology called StaySharp™, it has become possible to produce blades with a hardness of 71HRC, which translates into incredibly long sharpness retention. Made with StaySharp Technology™, the blades remain flexible and are not brittle. Thanks to the unique properties of carbide, they retain a clean, sharp cutting edge longer than traditional steel blades. These properties make the material ideal for knife blades. And with an exceptional hardness of 71 HRC, simply put, they are the hardest and most durable blades ever produced.
W-Lock - innovative wedge locking system. The two-way lock secures the blade in the open position. Closing the knife is done by moving the backspacer backwards, which eliminates accidental unlocking of the blade.

Blade - sheepfoot type with full flat grind (Full Flat Grind). A novelty is the raw finish (Matted) - its striking appearance was achieved by PTC grinding with fine diamonds. Unlike a steel blade, the PTC blade is completely rustproof, making it suitable for both fresh and salt water. Ball bearing ceramic supports the smooth opening of the blade, which can be opened via a hole in the wedge (thumb hole). As a result, it can be easily used by both right- and left-handed people. The whole thing is locked with an innovative W-Lock.

Handle - grips made of Fat Carbon composite, a material of exceptional strength and aesthetics. The backspacer is part of the W-Lock locking system. The decorative pivot contrasts beautifully with the color of the grips. The fore finger groove, made on the front, improves grip security by creating a guard that prevents the hand from slipping on the blade.
