The 420 steel head combines the function of a classic shovel with a side saw with an aggressive tooth, useful for cutting through branches and soft wood. The aluminum handle is lightweight, weatherproof and allows quick assembly and disassembly. The twisted end conceals a mini saw with tool kit and a compass. The whole thing can be easily packed into the included carrying case. This is a reliable tool for anyone who values functionality, mobility and durability in the field.

420 - martensitic stainless steel rich in 0.15% carbon, containing min. 12% chromium, which offers high hardenability in the range of 54-56 HRC as well as strength, toughness, machinability and excellent corrosion resistance. The high carbon content produces chromium carbide compounds for wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for manufacturing cutting tools, knife blades and medical instruments.

Head - the working element of the Pommel model M9808 combines the classic profile of a shovel with a diagonal cutting edge, useful for digging, leveling, cutting off roots or clearing land. On one side of the Blade is a full-length blade with a medium tooth, which allows you to effectively cut through branches, plastic pipes or soft construction materials. The blade is made of 420 stainless steel, ensuring corrosion resistance, robustness on impact and ease of sharpening. Blade can be set in several positions (vertical and angular), which increases the range of applications - from classic digging, to hacking, to use as a blow hatchet.

Handle - is a handle made of anodized aluminum, lightweight, rigid and resistant to deformation. It is equipped with a black section with a foam grip for comfort and non-slip when working. In the back of the Handle there is a built-in compass, protected in a screw-on cap - useful as an emergency navigation tool. After unscrewing the back part, we gain access to a mini fine-tooth saw, can opener, bottle opener. The whole thing can be stowed in the included camouflage fabric pouch, which allows for convenient carrying in a backpack or on a belt.
