N690Co - cobalt-rich 1.65% (Co) corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C) martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V). Developed to provide better wear resistance compared to the original Böhler N690 steel, but with higher cobalt (Co) content in its composition. It features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. Hardened in the range of 59-61 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - Drop Point type finished in an elegant Satin method. The ideal cutting edge along its entire length provides exceptional cutting performance with full force, transferring power to the blade's hilt, guarantees better point strength. The wide blade combined with a high flat grind (Flat Grind) gives extreme cutting performance combined with high strength. The low descending guard prevents fingers from slipping on the blade while working. A notched section of the Blade's back, the spine jimping ramp positions the thumb, giving solid support, making it easier to operate the knife. The cutting edge starts with a small notch which makes sharpening superbly easy.
Handle - made of Cocobolo exotic wood, screwed directly to steel, provides a virtually indestructible construction. The rounded shape of the covers eliminates sharp edges. The unique ergonomics of the Handle allows the knife to be held both ways, especially for users who appreciate an inverted grip. On the back of the Handle skull crusher and lanyard hole, a hole for attaching a cable.
Sheath - protecting the Blade along with part of the Handle. Hand-stitched, made of natural leather in brown color with embossed manufacturer's logo. The edge of the case was stitched with decorative thread. Attached to the belt, it allows carrying the knife in an upright position.
