14C28N - a martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in the range of knife steels produced by Sandvik's Swedish mills. An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Blade - Clip Point type finished masking minor scratches by Stonewashed method and then coated with black coating. The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards a strikingly needle-sharp tip, which is in line with the center of the knife, ensuring maximum effectiveness. The small thickness of the blade combined with a high flat grind (Flat Grind) gives excellent cutting properties combined with high durability. Ball bearing ceramic supports the smooth opening of the blade, which can be opened using either a hole in the blade (thumb hole) or a flipper flipper (index-finger flipper) that acts as a stinger when opened. As a result, it can be easily used by right- and left-handed people. To maintain full control of the blade, there is a notched thumb rest on the back of the upper jimping wedge. The whole is locked with a solid liner lock.
Handle - rough G10 (pressure-pressed fiberglass with synthetic resin) grips, which were screwed to steel liners.
