The Slim Midi Marauder Drop Point, Blue Titanium, Std HW/Clip, Black from Medford Knife & Tool offers the rugged design of the larger version, the Marauder-H, but with a thinner blade and a handle for easy everyday carry. This attractive Slim Marauder features a sturdy titanium handle and a CPM S45VN stainless steel blade that has exceptional edge retention and increased corrosion resistance, while the drop point blade has beautiful, clean lines. CPM S45VN - American martensitic high-alloy stainless steel with a hardness of 59-61 HRC, one of the best blade steels. Designed to provide better strength compared to CPM S30V, while keeping corrosion resistance at the highest level. Manufactured by US Crucible Industries using the particle metallurgy / Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) method. The CPM process creates a very homogeneous, high-quality steel with excellent dimensional stability, grindability and ductility compared to steels produced by conventional methods. The chemical composition has been balanced so that it is composed of 0.5% niobium carbides (Nb) along with 3.0% vanadium (V) and 14.0% chromium (Cr) carbides. The improved strength of CPM S45VN also provides better resistance to edge chipping.

The blade of this version of the Slim Midi Marauder has been black PVD-coated, hand-laid concave grinds give excellent cutting properties combined with high strength. The striking embossing increases durability, with their help we open the knife. For increased insensitivity to contamination, phosphor bronze washer was used, making the pivot axis more resistant to field work. A powerful titanium frame lock bar secures the knife from folding, unfolded and secured the knife is as solid as an armored cash register.

Handle made of titanium anodized in blue. On the back of the Handle a hole for interweaving a safety or decorative cord. The whole is complemented by a massive clip, also made of titanium, of course.

The knife is delivered in a waterproof and dustproof - IP67 rating and shockproof (MIL-STD-810F) technical case from the American S3 Case Company, made of high-impact S433 resin - one of the most durable materials available in the world.
