9Cr18MoV - high-grade stainless knife steel. A high content of 18.0% chromium (Cr) and an average of 0.95% carbon (C) provide high hardness and corrosion resistance, while the addition of alloying elements 1.3% molybdenum (Mo), 0.8% silicon (Si), 0.12% vanadium (V) increase strength and wear resistance. 9Cr18MoV has a high hardness in the 57-59 HRC range. It is used in the production of knives, including Damascus and surgical blades, swords, scissors, cutlery.
Blade - wide, Drop Point type with clearly marked belly, finished with Black Stonewashed method. The massive blade combined with a high flat grind (Flat Grind) gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearing ceramic supports the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened with a quick flipper flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent your hand from slipping on the blade. Finger choil, an index-finger undercut between the Handle and the cutting edge, and an upper jimping notched section of the Blade's back for the thumb make it easy to hold securely during precision tasks.
